This report presents the results
of 16 monotonic and 28 cyclic test of flat strap X-braced walls, steel sheathed
shear walls, high aspect ratio shear walls and shear walls framed with 54-mil
and 43-mil studs.
The findings provided a basis for continued research and development efforts,
leading to the establishment of provisions for cold-formed steel-framed
diagonal braced walls and Type I shear walls.
